Why "Wildfeather" ?

i am often asked about the name "Wildfeather"

it was in this state
a blackhawk indian
upon noticing me
called out the term "Wahfedda"
two times
it was then i knew who what i was to be called
from then on
i sat and talked with him a while
and then took the name back to my tribe
everyone agreed it was right for me
since that day
i have been know as jeseppi trade wildfeather

i will save "trade" for a future post
