True God

there is no such thing
as a true religion
everybody knows that
but there is such a thing
as a true god
and everybody knows that too

if you tell me
you are in the true religion
i'm gonna say
"oh yeah ... what's so true about it?"

but if you say
"god is true"
who can debate you
except the devil
and that is
how we know them apart
the devil says that god is a liar
and god says that the devil is a liar

so which one do you trust

to start with
the words trust and true
have similar meanings
since they derive
from the same source
you be the judge
if you wish to trust
you will decide
which one is true
if you wish to mistrust
you will decide
which one is untrue

once you have decided
you will follow
either one or the other
never both
if both
society regards you
as insane
and treats you
insanely
but once you make your choice
either to believe
and trust
or to disbelieve
and mistrust
then you will know which god
you are following
the true god
or the untrue god

here is the evidence
of what i am saying

who are you following
and who did you wish to follow
you will know them by their fruits

those who have fruits of truth
are following the god of truth
and those who have fruits of untruths and lies
and following the deceiving god

but watch this ...

since those
who are following a deceiving god
do not know
that that
is who they are following
because the deceiving god
deceives them
they think they are following
themselves or others
who are likewise deceived
yes and there are many of them
mistrusting and deceiving
therefore
if you claim
to follow a true god
then truth
is what you must
observe and support
for if you observe
a lie and suppport it
that lie will surely
bring forth
the fruits of untruth
which are the fruits
of the deceiving devil
but if you observe
and support truth
then you will surely bring forth
the fruits of that which is true

this saying has been repeated
throughout recorded history
and i repeat it now
that during these days
it may be clear
in your hearing
"those who are of the truth
will hear the sound
of my voice"
thus saith the lord
