by the same people
that murdered john and robert kennedy
and martin luther king
he died on his own vomit
the same was jesus did

hendrix was a pacifist
but every single word
of the "red house" he sang about
allegorically spoke of a condition
of confusion enprisonment
fear bondage and slavery
that the government of the few
imposes on the lives of the many
this is a tradition dating back
to nebuchadnezzar

he was an amazing and gifted artist
who used his voice tones and melodies
and ultimately his life
pointing toward and lifting up love grace and freedom
while exposing the hypocrites who
struggle to conceal and pervert these values

for that reason
he was murdered
as many others were

for although
when they found him
according to the paramedic's report
ten years later
they said that his stomach was filled with red wine
yet the coroner's report said
there was no alcohol found in his blood
