The Psychology of Shutting Up

most people are conditioned
to know only one thing
say something new
and they draw a blank

i am considered an intense person
because when i speak
no one knows what i am saying
since they have never heard it before

so i have decided to play it safe from now on
and only listen to what they have to say
in this way they will feel like they understand everything
even when they have heard absolutely nothing
